The Julia I. Carrington Foundation was established in 2014 by long-time Vacaville resident and prominent farmer, Julia I. Carrington, to provide scholarship support to students majoring in agricultural fields. Our goal is to aide in offsetting the high costs of college tuition, enabling students to spend more time focusing on their studies then working to pay for them.
We want potential applicants to realize that the agriculture field is very broad, and is certainly not limited to farming. It includes a variety of fields including animal sciences, biotechnology, food science, sustainable agriculture, viticulture, veterinary services, and wildlife conservation.
